ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the land of the petitioner at S.F.No.359/2B11 in Joint Patta No.891 with an extent of 2 acres 40 cents in Andipatti village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader stated that the petitioner had filed an application on 12.04.2023 and had paid necessary charges. It is also represented that in accordance with the seniority of the pending application, survey would be conducted.

3. A direction is given that in accordance with the seniority of the application, the respondents may conduct survey of the land. Prior to conduct such survey, they must issue notice to the joint pattathars. Only after getting consent, proceed to demarcate the land. If objections are raised then the objections may be noted and a report must be filed and reasons must be given as to why survey could not be conducted.
