O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.21 of 2019, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Sivagangai, as against the petitioner herein.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the matter has already been settled between the parties before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Court on 16.04.2024 and the terms of agreement for settlement was also signed by both the parties and prays for allowing this petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent.

4. Since the matter has already been settled between the parties before the Mediation Centre and the terms of agreement for 2/4

settlement was signed by both parties, this Court is inclined to allow this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the entire proceeding in C.C.No.21 of 2019, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Sivagangai, is hereby quashed as against the petitioners herein. The terms of agreement for settlement is form part of this order. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
