This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to grant approval for site plan and building plan as per the application of the petitioner dated 21.08.2017. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The case of the petitioner is that he decided to construct a dwelling house in the property of his father in S.No.61/1, Ward No.6, Sanjay Gandhi Street, Palanichettipatti Town Panchayat, Theni Taluk, Theni District, for which, after getting consent from the legal heirs, he has given an application on 21.08.2017 to the respondent to grant approval for site plan and building plan. petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that if time is granted to the respondent, the application of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders will be passed.

5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 21.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
