This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct enquiry and cancel patta No.3557 issued in the name of the respondents 4 to 6 and restore the entries regarding the property in Survey No.875/1, Chittikurichi Village, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District as made in patta No.1622, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the property measuring to an extent of 2.84 acres in S.F.No.875/1 at Chittikurichi village belongs to him, for which, patta also stands in his name as patta No.1622. While so, he came to know that the said property was sub divided and joint patta has been issued in the name of the respondents 4 to 6 as patta No.3557. Therefore, he made a representation dated 26.08.2017 before the respondents 1 to 3 to restore the entries as made in patta No.1622. Since the same has not been considered so far, the present petition has been filed. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that if time is granted to the respondents, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders will be passed.
5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after due notice to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties.
6.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
