O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.10.2017 and issue patta in his name in respect of the property to an extent of 21⁄2 cents bearing Survey No.26/5, Velliyankundram Pudur, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

Hence, he made several representations to the respondents seeking issuance of patta in his name in respect of the aforesaid property, but the same are pending till date without any consideration. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that no rival claim is made or suit is pending with regard to the property in question.

5.Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
