JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) The writ petitioner filed W.P(MD)No.8530 of 2021. He wanted No Objection Certificate from the WRD / PWD to draw water and transport the same. The Writ Petition was disposed of on 12.07.2021 in the following terms:
"12.In view of the above discussion, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the second respondent and the second respondent on receipt of the representation shall consider granting No Objection Certificate to the petitioner in line with the proceedings of the District Collector, Thanjavur District, dated 07.04.2020, by imposing the necessary conditions, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
Aggrieved by this direction, this Writ Appeal came to be filed by the Department.

2.During the pendency of the Writ Appeal, the order of the learned single Judge was complied with. A rejection order was passed on 14.08.2021 by the first appellant herein. Challenging the same, the writ petitioner herein filed W.P(MD)No.5463 of 2024. It is said to be pending. In any event, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Appeal.
3.Granting liberty to the respondent to work out his rights in the manner known to law, this Writ Appeal is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [G.R.S., J.] [M.J.R., J.] 24.03.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No MGA 3/4
