Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to enhance and fix fair compensation of the award amount for the land acquired by the 2nd respondent comprising in Survey No.823/2B and 2D (Old Survey No.823/2) constituting 1284 square meter situated at Thalaiyuthu Village, Thalaiyuthu Post, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, by taking into consideration of the market value of the lands situated in and around the areas by considering the petitioners' representation sent to the 1st respondent dated 13.04.2023.

It is stated that the Appeal is under consideration of the District Collector and the learned Special Government Pleader had forwarded a document to show that the District Collector had called for remarks from the Agricultural Department, Public Department and Horticulture Department.

2. Since the appeal is still under consideration of the District Collector, no order could be passed in the present Writ Petition.

3. The petitioners may participate in the appeal consequent to the notice given to the petitioners herein. 3/6
