PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324, 302, 307 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.43 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 03.07.2018, there was a previous motive between two groups with regard to local body election, for which, the accused persons attacked the defacto complainat's brother with wooden log and knife. When he was taken to the Government Hospital for treatment, he was died on the way to the hospital. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation is still pending and therefore, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
