The petitioner has lodged a complaint that his mother in law has stolen certain original documents from his house and also is creating some documents. Therefore, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the first respondent and the same is still pending for enquiry. The grievance of the petitioner is that instead appearing for the enquiry, the private respondents have threatened the petitioner and his family members. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 20.06.2024, seeking police protection.
2.In the event, if the complaint given by the petitioner for the stolen of documents was not acted upon, it is always open to the petitioner to lodge a criminal complaint and to prosecute the same. However, without any reasons, this petition has been filed seeking police protection.

3.Considering the manner in which the application has been filed, this petition is dismissed with a cost of Rs.1,000/-, which has to be paid by the petitioner to the respondent police and the same shall be used by the respondent police for any welfare activities of the concerned Police Station.
