ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to regularise the service seniority of the petitioner and give notional promotion with monetary benefits equal to the post of Sub Inspector of Police to the petitioner, on the basis of his representation dated 18.07.2017.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, seeking regularisation of the service seniority and notional promotion equivalent to the post of Sub Inspector of Police with all back wages, submitted a representation dated 18.07.2017 to the respondents and the same has not been considered so far. Hence, he is before this Court.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader fairly submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits. 4.In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
