This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner by considering his representation dated 01.09.2017.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The case of the petitioner is that he purchased a land in S.No.185/8 measuring to an extent of 1530 square feet in the year 1995 and since then he is in possession and enjoyment of the same and in order to get patta for the said land, he sent a representation to the respondent on 01.09.2017. As the same is still pending without passing any orders, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that no rival claim is made or suit is pending with regard to the said property.

into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties.

6.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
