ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai to expedite the proceedings pending in C.C.No.113 of 2014.
2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that a final report was filed by the respondent police for an offence under Section 66 (A) of Information Technology Act and Section 509 of IPC. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would further submit that after framing of charges, seven witnesses have already been examined out of twelve witnesses. The case is posted for examination of remaining witnesses on 27.09.2018. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner herein is the accused in the above case and due to the pendency of this case, the petitioner has lost his job https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
opportunities. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that an early disposal of the case will determine the future of the petitioner.
4.It is seen from the records that already seven witnesses have been examined and five more witnesses will have to be examined on the side of the prosecution. C.C.No.113 is of the year 2014 and it has been pending for the last 4 years. 5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, to dispose of the C.C.No.113 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible and in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner as well as the prosecution are directed to cooperate with the Court below in completing the proceedings within the time stipulated by this Court.
