This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to give compassionate appointment to the petitioner by considering his representation, dated 19.07.2017. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that subsequent to the filing of the Writ Petition, the claim of the petitioner came to be rejected by order dated 18.01.2018. 3.At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to challenge the said order. 4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed, however, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said order. No costs.
