Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to delete the name of the respondents 3 to 7 in Patta No. 49 & 942 for the land in Survey No. 142/9F and 142/9F2 respectively for the land to an extent of 2 cents situated in Muvanoor Village, Musiri Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District and include the name of the petitioner and issue patta to that effect by considering the representation given by the petitioner dated 05.09.2017 within the period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2. Notice to the other respondents is dispensed with, as no adverse order is going to be passed and opportunity of hearing will be provided, by the authorities concerned, at the time of hearing.

3. According to the petitioner, the property in Survey Nos. 142/9F and 142/9F2, Muvanoor Village, Musiri Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District belongs to him, whereas, the patta stands in the name of some third parties, viz., the respondents 3 to 7 herein. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 05.09.2017 before the authorities and as the same is kept pending, without any action, the petitioner is before this Court, for the aforesaid relief.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice, if his representation dated 05.09.2017, is disposed of by the authorities, on merits, within a stipulated time limit.

5. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.09.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and respondents 3 to 7 as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
