ORDER
This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the order passed by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No. 128/F1PS/RMD/2022 dated 07.07.2022 and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission and afford protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament, which is scheduled to be held from 15.07.2022 at 9.00 2/5
p.m. to 16.07.2022 at 3.00 p.m and for usage of mike set during the said tournament at K.Veppankulam, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner pleaded to quash the order passed by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No. 128/F1PS/RMD/2022 dated 07.07.2022. Further he seeks a direction to the respondents to grant permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament from 15.07.2022 to 16.07.2022 at K.Veppankulam, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that there is a possibility of clash between two groups. However, the respondent police gave permission to other temple functions but, only preventing this Kabadi Tournament and Keda Muttu event.
4.The jurisdictional Inspector of Police is also present before this Court and expressed his apprehension in giving permission for conducting the Kabadi Tournament and Keda Muttu event.
