O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the third respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute under the guise of enquiry based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2022.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the property measuring to an extent of 3 acre 99 cents at Dindigul District, Dindigul West Taluk, Kurumbapatti Village, in S.F.No.81/2, that land's patta stands in the name of Anaikutti Kudumban. Now, there is a dispute between the petitioners and the fourth respondent herein, in this connection, the fourth respondent gave a complaint against the petitioners based on that, the third respondent police harassed the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petitioners have filed this Petition. 2/5

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the complaint has been received against the petitioners from the fourth respondent and summon has been issued to the parties for enquiry.

4. In view of the above submission, a complaint has been received against the petitioners from the fourth respondent, so that, the third respondent police conducted an enquiry. The petitioners and the fourth respondent to cooperate for enquiry and the third respondent- Inspector of Police to conduct enquiry without harassing the petitioners and take suitable action in accordance with law as early as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
