Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2015 and reminder dated 22.11.2016 submitted in regard to revise his pay by extending the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.237, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 22.07.2013 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2015 and reminder dated 22.11.2016 submitted in regard to revise his pay by extending the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.237, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 22.07.2013 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.G.Thalaimutharasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondent. 3.Having regard to the limited nature of relief sought by the petitioner, without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made, the respondent is directed to dispassionately consider the representation dated 03.07.2015 made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 31.12.2017.
