ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of her representation, dated 18.04.2016.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing on both sides and perused the materials placed available on record. 3.According to the petitioner, she made a request under RTI Act on 10.03.2016 about the genuineness of a Desertion Certificate issued to one Bhuvaneswari, who got appointment based on the said certificate. Since there is no reply, she made an appeal under the RTI Act before the authorities on 10.05.2016. Even in the appeal, there was no reply from the authorities. Hence, she made a detailed representation to the respondent on 18.04.2016 to cancel the said certificate. However, the respondent has not taken any fruitful steps and therefore, she has approached this Court. 4.Though the prayer sought in this writ petition is to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 18.04.2016, the learned Counsel for the petitioner at the time of hearing, sought the indulgence of this Court to dispose of the said RTI appeal, dated 10.05.2016 within a stipulated time limit.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader has no objection for such submission.

6.Under such facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the concerned authority to dispose of the RTI appeal dated 10.05.2016, which is said to be pending, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.The learned Additional Government Pleader is directed to communicate this order to the authority concerned, so as to enable him to dispose of the appeal, within the time stipulated by this Court.

8.The writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
