The limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition is for transfer of the petitioner's earlier amount under the EPF Account No.TN/17737/51 with interest to the GPF account No.172696GL, dated 03.08.2020. 2.The learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent would submit that appropriate procedure for such transfer of the EPF amount to the GPF Account shall be on Form 13 of the Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act. It is his further submission that if such application is made, the same will be considered in accordance with law. 2/4
3.Accordingly, the petitioner is granted liberty to file an application under Form 13 as expeditiously as possible before the first respondent and on receipt of such application, the first respondent shall consider it on its own merits and take appropriate further course of action in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such application. 4.This writ petition stands disposed of.
