PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to rectify the error in UDR and issue individual patta in the name of the petitioner for the property in S.No.716/1, measuring 48 Cents in Kalakadu Part-1 Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Cheranmahadevi Sub Registration District, Tirunelveli District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2025 as well as on the basis of the recommendation given by the 3rd Respondent in Muu.Mu.CP.No/364(7404)2024/A3 dated 27.06.2025. ORDER

The present writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to rectify the error in UDR and issue individual patta in the name of the petitioner for the property in S.No.716/1, measuring 48 Cents in Kalakadu Part-1 Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Cheranmahadevi Sub Registration District, Tirunelveli District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2025 as well as on the basis of the recommendation given by the 3rd Respondent in Muu.Mu.CP.No/364(7404)2024/A3 dated 27.06.2025. 2/4

2. The petitioner's claim was already considered by the Village Administrative Officer and the Deputy Collector for Land Acquisition and they have recommended to the 2nd respondent to rectify the error in the UDR. However, the 2nd respondent has not passed any orders.

3. Therefore, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2025 in the light of the recommendation made by the Village Administrative Officer and the Deputy Collector for Land Acquisition and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
