This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue Temporary Permit to the petitioner's Stage Carriage bearing Registration No.TN 59 BW 4145 to ply on the route Madurai to Dindigul based on the hearing was held on 10.10.2017 till the disposal of the petitioner's Renewal Application dated 29.12.2016 and for further directions. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.Heard Mr.M.Ajmal Khan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Sadesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.T.Padmanabhan, learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submits that the petitioner has been granted temporary permit for the period of 09.11.2017 to 31.12.2017 by order dated 09.11.2017 and further submits that in respect of the disposal of the application for renewal, the Transport Authority has to also comply with another order dated 31.01.2017 passed in W.P.(MD)No.1473 of 2017 in respect of the same route sought by the fourth respondent.
4.In these circumstances, the learned counsel for the petitioner has made an endorsement that the relief sought in the Writ Petition has been granted for time being, without prejudice to the right of the petitioner for seeking continuation of the permit after 31.12.2017.
5.Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of with an observation that the first respondent shall take expeditious steps to dispose all the pending applications and pass final orders in compliance of the Court orders without brooking any further delay. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
