O R D E R

The petitioner is a student who wants an educational loan from the third respondent bank. The bank has sanctioned a sum of Rs.57,000/-, which is the fee prescribed by the Committee headed by Justice. N.V. Balasubramanian. It is not open to the student to ask for a loan amount in excess of what has been prescribed by the said Committee. The amount of Rs.57,000/- was sanctioned by the third respondent bank towards the first year of B.E. course. For the second year also, the petitioner is entitled to the fee, as prescribed by the said Committee. The bank shall of course extend loan assistance for the second year also. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
