The writ petition has been filed, seeking to quash the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.97/Ou.Kaa.Ka.The/2016 dated 06.06.2016 with consequential direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to perform Chendai Melam from 3.00pm to 9.00pm on 13.06.2016 during the procession of the Church festival of St.Anthoniyar Church, Agarakattu Village, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tirunelveli District.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the Additional Superintendent of Police, Tenkasi Division himself has granted permission on 08.06.2016 for performing the function. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that permission has already been granted by the Additional Superintendent of Police, Tenkasi Division, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
