ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the second respondent to shift the Petitioner's son Kabi@Kabilan, S/o.Kalaimani, aged about 24 years, from Central Prison, Trichy to anyone private Hospital for providing medical treatment by considering the representation dated 21.06.2022.

2. The facts of the case are that a case has been registered against the petitioner's son Kabi@Kabilan in Crime No.505 of 2022 for offences under Sections 392, 397, 5069ii) I.P.C and Section 25(1A), 25(2) of Arms Act, 1959. The respondent Police brutally attacked the petitioner's son, in which Kabilan's left leg was broken. The dispensary situated in prison does not have sufficient medical facility and the injury sustained by Kabilan is getting worsen day by day. Having no other way, the petitioner preferred a representation dated 21.06.2022 to take action against the officials and also to 2/4

admit her son in a Private Hospital. Since no action was taken, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the medical report was submitted with regard to the treatment given to the petitioner's son Kabi @ Kabilan. He further submitted that the petitioner's son suffered the injury on his left leg and initially, the treatment was given at prison. Thereafter, he was admitted in Trichy Prison Hospital, Trichy. On 15.07.2022, he was sent to Trichy Government Hospital for treatment and admitted and now, he is under treatment.
