ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent to provide electricity connection to the house property of the petitioner in Door No.687/C, Semmalapatti, Alavayal Post, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District on the basis of online application, dated 09.12.2024 vide reference No.2000618812241060.

2. The petitioner appears to have submitted an online application for electricity connection for his house at Door No.687/C, Semmalapatti, Alavayal Post, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District on 09.12.2024. However, the said application has not been processed till date.

The learned Standing counsel for the respondent submits that one Vigneshwaran, S/o.Gurumoorthy has filed a suit against the petitioner in O.S.No.39 of 2024 before the Munsif Court, Ponnamaravathi, Pudukottai District. In view of the above dispute, the respondent has not processed the petitioner's application. However, the learned counsel for the respondent confirms that no interim order has been obtained by the said Vigneshwaran from the Civil Court.

4. In view of the above, there shall be no impediment in directing the respondent to process the petitioner's application for grant of electricity connection. Accordingly, the respondent is directed to issue an electricity connection to the petitioner. It is needless to state that the said electricity connection shall be subject to the final outcome of the civil suit filed by the said Vigneshwaran in O.S.No.39 of 2024, pending before the Munsif Court, Ponnamaravathi.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall no order as to costs.
