O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to direct the third respondent to conduct enquiry and complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.57 of 2021 on the file of the third respondent within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.57 of 2021 which is registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 447, 323, 354, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 3(b), 4 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime No. 57 of 2021 is almost completed and prayed for one month time to file a final report.

5. In view of the above submission, the respondent police is directed to file the final report within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
