Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to permit the petitioner to conduct the 215 years old Martyr Day celebration of the Freedom Fighter Valukku Veli Ambalam in Kathapattu Chockanathapuram Village, Sivagangai District as per the customary practice along with police protection and speaker permission based on the petitioner's representation dated NIL sent on 28.05.2016 and subsequent reminder dated 05.06.2016. This is an application filed by the petitioner seeking a direction the respondents herein to permit the petitioner to conduct the 215 years old Martyr Day celebration of the Freedom Fighter Valukku Veli Ambalam in Kathapattu Chockanathapuram Village, Sivagangai District as per the customary practice along with police protection and speaker permission based on the petitioner's representation dated NIL sent on 28.05.2016 and subsequent reminder dated 05.06.2016.

2. Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would oppose the application on the ground that on the previous year, even though permission was granted subject to the conditions, certain conditions were violated and a case has been registered against the Organizers.

6. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.05.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the same and to impose appropriate conditions depending upon the nature of the cases and the nature of the violations complied of.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
