This contempt petition has been filed to punish the Contemnor/2nd Respondent for her willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.379 of 2022, dated 11.02.2022.

2.This Court, by an order, dated 11.02.2022 in Crl.O.P(MD)No.379 of 2022 directed the Contemnor/2nd respondent to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 and after giving an opportunity of bearing, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that as directed by this Court, an enquiry was conducted by the respondent police. During the course of enquiry, it was found that civil dispute is pending between the parties and the both the parties gave a statement that they will resolve the issue before the concerned authority. Therefore, the respondent police closed the complaint. 4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this contempt petition is closed. 01.08.2022 vsd 2/4
