The writ petitioner belongs to Arunthathiyar Community, but in the Transfer Certificate issued by the third respondent it has been generally mentioned that she belongs to Scheduled Caste. During the relavent time there was no sub reservation provided for Arunthatiyars. The petitioner now seeks to pursue her higher studies but, she is not able to avail the quota meant for Arunthatiyars, since her community has not mentioned in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transfer certificate. She had given an application to the third respondent seeking specific mentioning of her community in her Transfer Certificate. The request of the writ petitioner is reasonable.

2.Therefore, this Court directs third respondent to incorporate the community of the petitioner namely, Arunthatiyar in the Transfer Certificate issued to her in Serial No.143/1999-2000 dated 09.11.1999.
