ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner's husband/Chithirai Pandi passed away on 09.12.2021. The petitioner applied to the respondent for issuance of legal heir certificate. On the ground that the particulars set out in the death certificate are not correct, the petitioner's request has been rejected. The ground on which the petitioner's request has been negatived is patently unsustainable. The impugned order is quashed. The respondent is directed to hold an enquiry and issue legal heir certificate containing the correct particulars. This exercise shall be concluded within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.The writ petition is allowed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
