ORDER

Mr.M.Selvaraj, who was temporarily appointed as Sub-Staff in the respondent / Insurance Company on 10.03.1988 and got confirmation on 10.09.1998, had to face the departmental proceedings in connection with an allegation that on 30.03.2006, he misappropriated the collection amount of Rs.33,613/-, by not depositing it in the bank account. He was found guilty in the enquiry proceedings on the basis of his own admission that he failed to deposit the said amount in view of his daughter's marriage. After he accepted the charges contained in the charge memo, dated 02.05.2006, under Rule 25 of the General Insurance Company (CDA) Rules, 1975, he was found guilty and consequently, the respondent dismissed him from service with effect from 04.12.2006. 2.

When the order of dismissal was passed by the respondent as early as on 04.12.2006, keeping quiet for more than ten years, at this juncture, he has come to this Court, challenging the dismissal order dated 04.12.2006. This Court, finding no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

sufficient cause or reason to condone the huge and inordinate delay of 10 years, is not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
