This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's mother's application dated 27.08.2012 for petitioner's appointment on compassionate ground and the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2017.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that subsequent to the filing of Writ Petition, the petitioner was appointed as Office Assistant by an order dated 12.07.2018 in e.f.m3/764/2018 and he has also produced a copy of the same.
