Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to extend the lease period of the petitioner to run the hotel in Shop No.15 at Sempatti Bus Stand, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that on 21.03.2016, he submitted a representation to the respondents, requesting them to extend the lease period of the Hotel Vasanthm, considering the construction made by him and the huge amount spent by him towards the construction of hotel building. It appears that the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2016 was received by the respondents 1 and 2. However, no action is taken up by the respondents in the subject matter in issue.
4. In view of the fact that the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2016, in the subject matter in issue, is pending without any progress, this Court, at this stage, in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
interest of justice and fair play, directs the first respondent/the President, Pachaimalaiyan Kottai Village, Panchayat, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, to look into the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2016 and to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

It is needless for this Court to make a significant mention that the first respondent shall provide adequate opportunity to the petitioner by adhering to the principles of natural justice in true letter and spirit, at the time of disposal of the representation. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to furnish any copies of records/documents before the first respondent, who, on production of the same if any, shall take into consideration and to pass necessary orders, on the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2016, within the time limit prescribed as stated supra.
6. With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
