Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to settle the petitioner's Advocate Expenses and Final Disposal Fees of Rs. 27,28,350/- with 6% interest for belated payment on the base of the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2025 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

Heard both sides.

2.The writ petitioner is a practising lawyer. He was the standing counsel for the respondent corporation. Claiming that the fee dues payable to him had not been settled, this writ petition came to be filed. 3/7

3.The matter was referred for amicable settlement through the process of mediation. Before the mediator, the matter was resolved. Clause 7 of the settlement agreement reads as follows: "7. By signing this Agreement the Parties hereto state that they have no further claims or demands against each other with respect to W.P(MD)No.15146 of 2025 and all disputes and difference in this regard have been amicably settled by the parties hereto through the process of conciliation / Mediation."

4.The writ petitioner has signed the same. Therefore, the matter has to be given a quietus. The petitioner cannot be permitted to make any contra submission that his dues are yet to be settled. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
