O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction directing the respondents 1 to 3 not to harass the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent. The petitioner has borrowed a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakhs only) from the fourth respondent and the same was not repaid. Therefore, the fourth respondent gave a complaint against the petitioner. Based upon the said complaint, the respondent police 1 to 3 harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that a complaint has been received against the petitioner from the fourth respondent. Based upon which, an enquiry was conducted and during the course of enquiry, the petitioner agreed to repay the amount. So far, the said amount has not been paid. 2/4

4. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and without harassing the petitioner and take suitable action in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
