RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time of surrender before the Trial Court in Cr.M.P.No.4676/2018 dated 26/06/2018 in Crl.O.P.NO.8917 of 2018 in connection with Crime no.97 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.R.PRABHAKARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.P.G.OHM CHAIRMA PRABHU, Government Advocate (Crl.Side on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner's surrender and execute sureties in Crl.M.P(MD).No.4676 of 2018 in Crl.O.P(MD)No.8917 of 2018, dated 26.06.2018. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was arrested in Crime No.230 of 2018 on 24.06.2018 and he was released on bail by the Hon'ble Principal Seat at Madras on condition to stay and appear before the Ariyalur Town Police Station daily at 10.30 a.m and 5.30 p.m until further orders. Now, the petitioner appears before the said Police Station and complying with the said conditions from 18.07.2018 without any default. Due to that reason, he was unable to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of two weeks. Hence, he prays to extend the time to execute the sureties.

3.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, this petition is ordered and the time for surrender and to execute the sureties by the petitioner before the concerned Court is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. sd/- 30/08/2018 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
