O R D E R This petition has been filed seeking quashment of Impugned First Information Report in Crime No.459 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the is the accused in FIR in Crime No.459 of 2021 dated 20.05.2021, which was registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 269 of IPC, section 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and section 179 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, alleging that the petitioner has violated the COVID - 19 protocols during the pandemic period.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the Government of Tamil Nadu has dropped all the pending cases, which was registered during the pandemic period. In view of the above, the FIR registered against the petitioner was closed as further action dropped. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition.
