ORDER
The present contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court dated 22.11.2024 made in W.P.(MD)No.19567 of 2024, wherein this Court has held that as far as the charge memo issued as against the writ petitioner is concerned, the authorities would be entitled to proceed as against the Charge Nos.2 and 3 alone. However, it is alleged that the authorities have considered the first charge also as against the petitioner.

A perusal of the final orders passed by the District Collector, Kanniyakumari District reveals that the charges 2 and 3 alone have been taken into consideration and final orders have been passed imposing a punishment of stoppage of increment for a period of one (1) year without cumulative effect.
3. In view of the above said deliberations, this Court is of the considered opinion that contempt has not been made out. In case if the petitioner is aggrieved over the order passed by the District Collector, Kanniyakumari District on 30.04.2025, she is always at liberty to challenge the same.
