ORDER

The petitioner, who is defacto complainant in Cr.No.22 of 2023, has approached this Court with a grievance that investigation in the above said case has not been completed and the final report has also not been filed.

2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that there are totally 8 accused in this case and except A5, all other accused obtained bail or anticipatory bail. However, the whereabouts of A5 is not known and therefore, they are not in a position to proceed with the investigation.

3.The reason assigned by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) cannot be a ground for keeping the complaint pending for a very long time. The respondent Police is directed to conclude the investigation and file final report, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is ordered.
