2. By consent, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

It is the stand of the petitioner that she purchased the house along with house site situated in R.S.No.24/1A, Sweatha Nagar, Ullur Village, kumbakonam Taluk, Tanjore District, from one M.Chitradevi by means of sale deed dated 13.04.2016 and the same was presented before the respondent/Joint Sub Registrar - I, Kumbakonam and furthermore, she paid the necessary stamp duty together with registration charges. But, till date the original sale deed dated 13.04.2016 is not returned to her. Hence, she made a representation in this regard before the respondent on 20.04.2016.

Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2016, addressed to the respondent/Joint Sub Registrar-I, Kumbakonam, Tanjore District, Kumbakonam, is pending as on date without any disposal, this Court, in the interest of justice and fair play, directs the respondent/Joint Sub Registrar-I, Kumbakonam, Tanjore District to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2016 and to dispose of the same on merits within a period of six weeks from the date https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of receipt of a copy of this order.

It is needless for this Court to make a significant mention that the petitioner and others concerned if any shall be provided with necessary opportunity at the time of disposal of the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2016. The petitioner is directed to render her assistance and co-operation in regard to the disposal of the representation dated 20.04.2016 by the respondent.

6. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
