Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first to third respondents to issue a communication to the fourth respondent regarding the classification of the land in Survey No.332/2 situated at Vempangkudi Village, Veerakudi Group Village, Tiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District laying with Veerakudi Revenue Village and consequently direct the fourth respondent to register the Pending Document Number.9/2017, dated 07.08.2017 and release the same by considering petitioner's representation, dated 23.10.2017.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to issue a communication to the fourth respondent regarding the classification of the land in Survey https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

No.332/2, situates in Vempangkudi Village, Veerakudi Group Village, Veerakudi Revenue Village, Tiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District and also direct the fourth respondent to register the Pending Document No.9/2017, dated 07.08.2017, and release the same, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 23.10.2017. 2.Heard both sides.

3.The petitioner made a representation dated 23.10.2017, to the respondents 1 to 4, seeking to issue a communication regarding the classification of the land purchased by him, admeasuring 3.29 acre comprised Survey No.332/2, Vempangkudi Village, Veerakudi Group Village, Veerakudi Revenue Village, Tiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District, which has not been classified as boomithanam land and also to register the Pending Document No.9/2017, dated 07.08.2017 and release the same. Since, the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.10.2017, is directed to be disposed of by the fourth respondent, as per law.

5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.10.2017, and pass appropriate orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and communicate the classification of land whether it is Boomithanam land or otherwise, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
