This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur expedite the trial pending in C.C.No.182 of 2016 within the time stipulated fixed by this Court.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Considering the oldness of the matter, the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur is directed to expedite the trial proceeding in C.C.No.182 of 2016, pending on his file and complete the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
