O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give police protection for the festival scheduled to be conducted on 09.06.2016 to 11.06.2016 in Manickavasagar Temple situated at Allalaperi Village, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions from the respondents, would submit that there is an undertaking by the respondents to provide police protection for the festival scheduled to be conducted from 09.06.2016 to 11.06.2016 in Manickavasagar Temple situated at Allalaperi Village, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

5. Recording the said undertaking, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition in WMP No.7993 of 2016 is also closed.
