ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to take appropriate action to disburse the Special Provident Fund deducted from the petitioner's pay up to the date of his retirement.
2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner submits that he served as a Junior Assistant in the office of the District Adi Dravidar Welfare Officer, Madurai, for a total of 22 years. He was allowed to retire peacefully on 31.05.2019 upon attaining the age of superannuation. Upon retirement, the petitioner received all his retirement benefits as per the Pension Payment Order No.P17/11722841/1/PPO No.R1722841/ADW dated 05.09.2019 issued by the Accountant General (A&E), Chennai, except for the Special Provident Fund (SPF). Despite the petitioner having subscribed to the SPF during his service, the amount deducted from his pay till the date of retirement has not been disbursed to him. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 24.08.2023 requesting the disbursement of his SPF, but no action has been taken till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that if the petitioner submits a fresh representation enclosing his pay drawn particulars to the second respondent, the same will be considered in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation enclosing his pay drawn particulars to the second respondent, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such representation, the second respondent shall consider it on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
