ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 08.02.2016, claiming interest for the belated payment of monetary benefit due to the petitioner from his retirement within the time as stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that despite the order of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.13996 of 2015, dated 06.08.2015, the interest for the belated payment of monetary benefit due to the petitioner has not yet been paid to the petitioner. Hence, he seeks appropriate direction to the first respondent in line with the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.13996 of 2015, dated 06.08.2015.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents seeks six weeks' time to settle the interest as provided to the petitioner.

5. Recording the submission so made by the learned Counsel for the respondents, this Court directs the respondents to settle the interest as provided to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
