PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.165/2024 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 31.05.2024 for the offences punishable under Section 174 I.P.C altered into Sections 4 1/3

and 9 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act and Section 306 I.P.C, in Crime No.165 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused claimed exorbitant interest from the defacto complainant. Due to which, the defacto complainant's son and his wife were died and threatening to pay the debt.Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that to wreck vengeance, the defacto complainant given a false complaint against the petitioner. He would further submit the petitioner is in custody from 31.05.2024. Hence, he prayed to grant bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police strongly opposed this petition and would submit that the defacto complainant's son and his wife were committed suicide, due to the threat of the accused. He further submits that the investigation is pending.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the nature of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
