ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation, dated 08.05.2025 and to issue patta in his name in respect of the land comprised in S.No.202/11, measuring an extent of 0.47.5 ares, situated at Soorakulam Group within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard the arguments of the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Ir is the case of the petitioner that the above mentioned property was assigned to him by the Special Tahsildar, Sivagangai, by his order dated 30.07.1971 and he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. The patta for the above mentioned property was already issued in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.474.

4.During digitalization of the revenue records, in the digital records, the above mentioned survey number was wrongly mentioned as Government Punjai. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 08.05.2025, seeking rectification of the digital records and inclusion of his name in the computer patta. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court with the above mentioned prayer. 5.The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
6.In view of the same, without going to the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner.

7.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
