ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing Respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by Respondents 4 to 7 in the Government/common cart track pathway situated in Survey Nos. 947/3, 945/2, 947/2, 969, 970/3 and 971/2 at Paiyagoundan Chettipatti, Puthu Village, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District, by implementing the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.26/2024/A3 dated 17.10.2024 and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.04.2026, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.
2. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions, submits that the encroachments have already been identified and proceedings also have been initiated for evicting the private respondents as early as on 17.10.2024. However, the encroachments are not so far removed. 2/4
3. In such a view of the matter, let the official respondents complete the proceedings already initiated under the Tamilnadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, after giving opportunity to the private respondents and other parties concerned. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
