ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.19/2024 on the file of the fourth respondent Police to fifth respondent or any other competent agency and investigate the same in accordance with law and file a final report.

2. The petitioner submitted that the petitioner herein is the de facto complainant who lodged the complaint before the fourth respondent police on 09.04.2024 in which a FIR in Crime No.19 of 2024 was registered under Sections 174 of IPC. However, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence this petition.

3. Learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that the only recently the postmortem certificate and the viscera certificates are obtained by the fourth respondent and he fairly submitted that the investigation would be concluded within a short span of time. 2/4

In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), this Court directs the fourth respondent police to conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is directed to monitor the investigation, being conducted by the fourth respondent police and the fourth respondent police is directed to appraise the progress in the investigation every Friday to the second respondent.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
