For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.8 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 506(i) and 120(b) and 109 IPC in Crime No. 8 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek/s anticipatory bail.

2.This Court by order dated 20.07.2022 granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is seen that the petitioner is a practicing Advocate and he is ready to appear before the respondent police and cooperate with the investigation. 3.The learned Additional Public prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the co-accused has already been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

CRL OP(MD). No.12639 of 2022 4.Since the co-accused has already been arrested and remanded to judicial custody, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not necessary. In the light of the limited role played by the petitioner, the interim order already granted by this Court is made absolute.
